Bagi mahasiswa Indek Prestasi Kumulatif(IPK) adalah alat ukur keberhasilan akhir belajar seorang mahasiswa . Seringkali kita perlu mengotak-atik nilai IPK untuk menjumlahkan nilai target yang harus dicapai pada sebuah nilai matakuliah. Pada program Microsoft Excel semuanya dapat dikerjakan dengan sangat mudah sekali. Langkah pertama, ketik seperti layout dibawah ini, langkah selanjutnya lihat rumus dibawah ini:

Nilai Grade
=IF(E3>=80,"A",IF(E3>=70,"B",IF(E3>=60,"C","D")))
(Untuk mengisi pada Nilai Grade, pada cell F3 ketik rumus Nilai Grade diatas)
Kode Grade
=IF(F3="A",4,IF(F3="B",3,IF(F3="C",2,IF(F3="D",1,0))))
(Untuk mengisi pada Kode Grade, pada cell G3 ketik rumus Kode Grade diatas)
Keterangan
=IF(G3>=2,"LULUS","TIDAK LULUS")
(Untuk mengisi pada Keterangan, pada cell H3 ketik rumus Keterangan diatas)
SKS x Grade
=D3*H3
(Untuk mengisi pada cell SKSxGrade, pada cell I3 ketik rumus SKSxGrade diatas)
Jumlah SKS
=SUM(D3:D8)
(Untuk mengisi pada cell Jumlah, ketik rumus SUM diatas blok area cell D3:D8)
Jumlah SKS x Grade
=SUM(I3:I8)
(Untuk mengisi pada cell Jumlah SKSxGrade ketik rumus diatas)
Rumus IPK
=I9/D9
(Untuk mengisi pada cell IPK ketik rumus diatas)
Jika benar kode rumus yang digunakan, maka akhir layout terakhir akan terlihat seperti lembar kerja dibawah ini.
